Dave Westlake is the founding member of Cheltenham Woodcraft Ltd, and has carried out projects over the years in and around Gloucestershire. Here’s a little bit about him…

“I finished my apprenticeship in Carpentry Joinery and Cabinet making in 1984 and then went to a joinery shop for about a year. Then went to work as a sub-contractor for several local building contractors. This is when the name Cheltenham Woodcraft was established. Mainly carrying out carpentry contracts initially, we moved in to building extensions and houses and have always been proud of our high quality of workmanship. In 1999 I got involved in construction projects with a London architect firm Potter and Holmes and joined the team as a Director of TADCL in 2001. We carried out single large builds in the Cotswolds to a very high standard and acquired other assorted, challenging projects throughout Gloucestershire.”

Cheltenham Woodcraft became a limited company in 2006 with Dave Westlake as Director and Wife Chris Westlake as Secretary, continuing to do work in the Construction industry to date.
